So, here we have the latest and greatest in the use of technology; a digital scale. In Caleb's science class (BJU Science) he is learning that value was placed on items according to weight. The challenge was to make up his own 'weight', name it, and see how much he could buy with that amount (which was corkscrew pasta). The lesson did a good job of showing how things were measured and paid for in Bible times...minus the convenience of a battery operated digital scale, of course. We weighed and measured everything that day!
